Bulb design and planting

Autumn is the season to think about getting spring bulbs in the ground, ensuring you are all set to welcome in the Spring as the days finally start to lengthen. Whether you know what you want and just need a hand getting them in the ground, or need a little design magic to ensure your bulbs complement your current planting, get in touch – we’d be delighted to help.

Bulb packages:

  • Planting only: You supply the bulbs, and we’ll plant

  • Supply and planting: We will source high- quality bulbs to meet your requirements and plant

  • Bulb design: We recommend a bulb selection tailored to your personal taste, your garden’s conditions and to enhance your current planting (can also be combined with planting and supply packages)

Seasonal pots

When summer comes to an end, don’t put your pots away! It might take a little more thought, but creating pots and planters which bring you joy through autumn and into winter and early Spring is well worth that investment.

With some canny planting, pots can bring colour, texture and interest to your garden throughout the year - and arguably when you need it most! - so get in touch and let us help.

Mulching and soil improvement

Autumn is the perfect time to invest in your soil and ensure a bumper growing season next year. Incorporating organic matter such as compost or manure in autumn will improve nutrients and structure. Mulches such as bark chips are particularly good at protecting semi tender plants in harsh winters and will also help to supress pesky winter weeds.

We can advise on the best mulch for your garden, prepare the ground for mulching and – of course – mulch!
