Your garden should be a place to relax, rest and play – not another thing on your ‘to do’ list! Rooted Gardening York can help keep your garden looking tip top, or if it needs a little more TLC, give it a seasonal refresher.

What’s the difference between a refresher and maintenance?
Refreshers are perfect if your garden has been left to its own devices for a little while and you need an injection of time and expertise to bring it back to its best and get it ready for the season ahead. Maintenance is ongoing and all about keeping on top of the week-to-week.
We aim to give all our maintenance clients a regular slot, so you know when to expect us, while refreshers are diarised for a mutually agreed time. After each maintenance or refresh visit, we’ll send you a short ‘visit summary’ – either photos or a video - so you know exactly what we’ve done.
What to expect
Your garden is personal to you, so on our first visit we’ll spend some time getting to know what you love (or don’t love!) about your garden and how you like your garden to be. Keen to encourage wildlife? We’ll leave those seed heads be. Not fussed if a poppy pops up in your border? Then neither are we! Like your lawn edges just so? Let us know!
Once we know your garden style, some clients are happy for us to use our expertise and crack on with the jobs we believe need doing, while others prefer to let us know areas they feel need particular attention. Either approach is fine for us, we’re very happy to work flexibly as suits you.
